    Fair enough. I am just frustrated. To get that close and not close the deal sucks. As a fellow burns fan are you not just sick and tired of consistently losing to the other county schools most years? I sure am.

    The Lincolnton coaches went in at the half and made all the right adjustments and those kids executed. We couldn’t adjust to them. So, in addition to turnovers hurting us we flat got out coached tonight too.

    I see they lost to North Gaston and Forestview and have only scored 14 points in 2 games. Based on the improvement seen in the KM game, I think we should win this one.

    Playing in such a weak conference pads a record with wins. We are just being brought back to reality tonight. We all knew that this year would not be what we’ve had the past couple of seasons. But hopefully we have some more great talent coming soon. I know the middle school were champs.

    Against Forestview our offense had no passing game. That is not going to work against Crest. They will just stack the box and it will be 1,2,3 punt all night.     Congrats to the Lions. This game went pretty much like I suspected it would. Our D isn't what it was last year. I think at best Burns is looking at a second round exit. Then, based on how many we have graduating and how the JV team played this year, we may actually be glad to be in this weak...
