    Even during the Bear Bryant days UK was known as a basketball school. With that said, in the last few years Stoops has the football team performing well above expectations while Calipari has been doing the opposite. So, if the trend continues things could change.

    UL went to FF's in 2005, 2012, 2013. The 2012 and 2013 appearances were vacated by the NCAA. But, even the NCAA can't change reality.

    And UL has to know they're owned in BB. They're a lot closer matched in football most years, but nonetheless the BB game generates the most interest at both schools.

    Does the won/loss history have any effect on interest in the game? I maintain that it's the most anticipated game on each team's schedule and that sounds like a rivalry to me. UT used to the the biggest BB game but no more. You think differently?

    It looked like a rivalry game to me! And, the past win/loss ratio doesn't mean squat. UK's defense had a lot to do with it (except the 45% foul shooting), but UL had one of their worst games of the season and still took the Cats to overtime at Rupp.

    I'm guessing the actual reason the game is on Facebook is that it's a home game for WKU and Facebook has a contract with their conference to stream their home games. I'm probably wrong and the real reason is that nobody wants to see Louisville. But, it is a possibility.

    I cannot believe those dirt bags at Spectrum want more money to allow a subscriber to watch their lousy internet sports channel. I get their regular ACC channel, but not their so called "Extra" streaming service. They'll not get another penny from me.
