Basketball Rutgers Basketball falls to Villanova 77-75 in its first scrimmage

Smith is going to have to play a lot bc he may be our best and most reliable 3 point shooter Mark and Francis Will take them, Powers too but he was total hit or miss last season not sure we want Gurdak shooting 4 3s in game… they left him wide open and he missed all badly despite good looking...

How good is Christian Gurdak going to be this season?

Good enough that we will worry about retaining him next year… will command a lot of NIL. And vultures will be circling

Basketball Tip-Off Times / TV Designations for Rutgers Basketball

Lot of 6 and 630 games. Never easy to get there for The start

    Team photo day

Gurdak is more 6’8”, Syndor will be the only real rim protection, he's the only front court player that looks long, unless Miteo or Buca play a lot

    2026-2027 OOC Schedule

Just waiting on an opener opponent the week of Nov 2, please don’t stoop down to the D2 ranks

Basketball Rutgers Basketball adds Sacred Heart to the schedule

Would think we are still waiting on our home opening season opener game opponent, first games of the year are the first week of November. As of now, we don’t have a game until Nov. 10, that’s too late to be season opener

Basketball Rutgers Basketball to face Houston in Players Era Eight Bracket

The second round matchups will be determined based on the results of each game. I assume they’re trying best to avoid same conference teams playing if possible. Difficult with Florida Auburn SEC, and Kansas Houston and West VA all Big 12. If that’s the case, I’d see us playing West Va or...

Basketball Rutgers / Syracuse at Barclays Center for 2026-27 season

would think this could be a double header type of showcase sponsored event

Basketball Big Ten Conference Announces 2026–27 Men’s Basketball Opponents

really hope we wouldn’t give up our Michigan home game. RAC at least gives us a chance at an upset UCLA at MSG would be the ideal game to give to MSG. It’s only be Rutgers fans, and is still a big enough name to put at the garden. Maybe in A doubleheader with another college game later that day

Fall, Nwuli and Badalau are all in the portal . . . .

Fall to Fresno St Jones to Kent St just leaves Zrno and Nwuli

Basketball Players Era expands to 24, moves Rutgers into eight-team bracket

I believe the big 12 now has a sponsorship deal with the players era, so their conference I think gets 8 guaranteed team slots each year. Something like that Rutgers ND has become our annual non conference game.

BB Recruiting Kansas State transfer center Dorin Buca commits to Rutgers

Like the pickup. Like that hes been in the USA and has a year of high major ball as experience. legit size annd length. Protects the rim. And 23. Can give us 12+ mins as a back up. I see he also shoots the occasional 3, with only 2 made in a blowout vs Zona.

    Menic

Bring him in. Should be able to surpass a euro league like this salary, so shouldn’t cost much. Would still like a 22 year old experienced college forward to add some bulk downlow. A Gurdak injury and we’d have no real size/strength downlow. Buchanan and Sydnor can not guard a Big all game.
