    Iowa St. Tampering Violations

Well where is the penalty for Iowa if we do it? And Mr. Peabrain, where is the penalty for all the other schools? Poop or get off the pot. It’s been 5 years of these allegations

    Iowa St. Tampering Violations

I remember when ISU hired a new assistant and was trying to poach guys from the school said assistant just graduated from. Weird how that got stopped dead in its tracks. Probably has nothing to do with it happening in the midst of this investigation.

So what does everyone think, is there going to be an MLB lockout or what? And who would be to blame?

Five in Five - What Might That Look Like?

The guys will be ineligible, as they should be. They had no expectation of 5 years of eligibility and the rule change didn’t occur until after their eligibility was exhausted. This falls under the well known legal theory of no take backsies.

So are they going to open up another portal window this summer? I have seen some talk of that. It would be the right thing to do after a rule change.

Five in Five - What Might That Look Like?

Yes but it wouldn’t matter since he is able to opt into the old rules. The fact that they allowed 2026 grads to have the choice between the old and new system makes it interesting.

Five in Five - What Might That Look Like?

So hypothetically, could an incoming 2026 recruit opt into the old rules, grey shirt in 2027 then redshirt in 2028?

Five in Five - What Might That Look Like?

So am I correct in the statement that Nasir is the only non-incoming recruit impacted by this. Meaning he will now have two more years at Iowa.
