    Where the Roster Stands

I was not sure if that had hit the free board. But there is value in paying for Rock. I think most people would find the investment worth it to stay ahead of the curve. The expectation is that Page is not returning.

    Where the Roster Stands

NU can roster 15 scholarship players. Based on eligibility, here are the 11 players who can return. Hurlburt is kind of a grey area as the new rules eliminate walkons but I am going to assume for purposes of this post that (1) he's coming back for a 5th year and (2) he's on scholarship (3) as...

LAWYER POLL: Could Martinelli sue for a 5th year? He played less than 15% of potential minutes as a freshman

What has changed in the last several games

You are wrong about Reid. It took him time to change his game to fit the system and the league. He will be much better next season running alongside West. I would argue that the late season improvement is more a part of Colin’s returning to what made his prior teams successful than anything...

There was huge roster turnover combined with a decision to change playing style. We forget how much Brooks was a one man wrecking crew on defense. The only player on the roster who could approach that level is Gelo. Every other player due to youth or inexperience is a minus defender. We all...

    Finally

The anomaly was USC taking 43 free throws. It ruins the game. Especially when they refuse to call a clear foul on USC in the last minute when they mugged West and called a jump ball. Just some amazing stuff from the zebras. That said, this is what happens in the Big10 where refs feel the...

    Finally

Some people probably tried to watch but immediately turned it off due to the Pink/Black/Cardinal and Gold color clash which, when combined with USC shooting 43 free throws, made it a tough watch. I'll take the refs from the Nebraska game over this crap any day.
