OT - Iowa women's wrestling coming East

Just got an email from the Lehigh coaches - Iowa/Lehigh on January 30 at Grace Hall. Circled on my calendar!

Greatest Villain in PSU Wrestling History

I don't there was ever any animus towards IMar, he was just a giant that had to be toppled; ironically, Spencer Lee wound up being sort of irrelevant; and Suriano wound up just being a passing distraction - even though his departure left 125 in the lurch for quite a few years, it didn't hurt the...

    Season Ticket Invoices

So I guess you think they cut the prices in half for BJC duals so they can get 30,000 people in BJC?

    Season Ticket Invoices

The ticket office is sticking to its guns on the Rec Hall/BJC drastic price inversion. Here's the email I got from them: "The price you are seeing for 2026-27 for both Rec Hall matches and BJC Duals on your invoice are correct for this year. Thanks!"

Personally, having been to quite a few All-Star Classics, I wish they would just drop the event. All have been meh.

He's got a point. If you want to see the two best teams go against each other, go to the Black Knight Open.

Really not a fan of the B1G tournament being off campus. Just a totally different feel to it. Then again, I preferred campus locations for NCAAs also.

2026 college wrestling schedule news thread - NOW includes PSU 26-27 schedlule

I think I figured it out. Someone in ticketing flipped the total cost of the Rec Hall and BJC matches. If that is true, the four Rec Hall matches at $200 for a two ticket package would have an average ticket price of $25, a reasonable increase of about $5 per ticket ($5.75 actually) from last...

    PSU Recruiting Thread

With James now effectively coming in with the 2027 class and after watching the four recruits at WNO, I'm thinking the 2027 class has the potential to become one of Cael's top 3 recruiting classes at Penn State. James, Sidun, Soto, Burnett, Shepherd, Mangano and Whitbread is pretty ridiculous.

Kinda weird. Two tickets for four Rec Hall matches cost $316 or $39.50 per ticket, more than double last year's price. Three BJC duals cost is $200 for a pair of ticketsfor each match or $33.33 per ticket. I'm totally confused.

    '26 Who's #1 (9/26) thread

Another thing - the overall vibe of this event has dropped since Grace Hall stopped being the host venue.

Oops. Totally forgot that. My bad.

I really liked how Burnett recognized what Kenny was doing at the end of the first period (i.e. tying up and pushing Burnett oob) and responded with the double leg after the whistle.
