Texas Judge has spoken. SEC cannot punish teams who sign former NFL players. Is Simmons, Jones, and Sweat available?

Good point, punishment is most financial to the schools and their employees (like coaches) but nothing about players or forfeited games or anything. So not sure what it means to say "SEC cannot punish teams".

IHL is punishing State (and Ole Miss)

MUW should have been consolidated with MSU long ago. Given MUW has been co-ed for quite some time there is really no reason for it to be separate.

Exactly, if the other SEC teams refuse to play teams with former NFL players is this judge going to force those teams onto the football field somehow? LSU choosing a bad hill to die on for a 2nd string TE.

    Manning & Sylla update.

They have a lot more legitimate reason to play than Chambliss does who is getting a SIXTH year without any hard evidence that he was ever held out for medical reasons. Even Ferris State said there was no medical reason why he didn't play much one year that wasn't his redshirt year. He just...

SEC makes a statement on professional athletes before two day conference meeting...

Oh, I'm piling on all the judges that are just creating out and out chaos. Here we are less than 2 weeks from everyone starting their football season and we still don't know who is eligible and who is not because the NCAA doesn't have control, the courts do.

SEC makes a statement on professional athletes before two day conference meeting...

Well, could have easily been avoided on 2 fronts. 1. The NCAA could have included the 2022 from the jump or 2. Judge Sweeney could have ruled that the NCAA has the right to determine eligibility rules for college athletics. But no, of course we have to have this insanity. NCAA is inept but...

    RIP Coach's wife

Great show during the college years. They sort of ruined it when Hayden moved to the NFL. Just didn't work the same. Luther Van Dam was one of the great characters ever in a comedy show.

Kiffin giving Sankey the middle finger.

Exactly, I've never heard of ANY organized sport anywhere that has rules to follow but none are enforceable because of activist judges and courts. Its just random chaos all over.

Kiffin giving Sankey the middle finger.

Does it even matter anymore if anyone attends games? Seems to be mostly about TV contracts at this point. Now if everyone quit watching it would sure get fixed.

    Rebs getting back........

Isn't it all pending the 10th circuit appellate court ruling? I don't think anyone is 'officially' back yet relative to the 2022 class getting 5 years.

    Why im excited.

It really doesn't matter. Outside the playoff games, all of these bowl games have turned into total exhibitions as a glorified practice for those sticking around for the next season while other players are either sitting out or hitting the portal. Of all 13 games last year, it absolutely...

Wow, I had no idea they were still in business.

So no one has a report on how yesterday’s scrimmage went?

We are so bad that we played an intrasquad scrimmage and both sides lost. ***

Y’all sheep done got me gassed up….

I was just seeing that 9 of our 12 opponents are higher in FPI than we are. In fact, all of our SEC opponents are higher than we are but I guess they are saying we still have some % chance to beat teams ranked higher to get us to 4.6.
