Fundamentals. It's why JoePa (albeit on a different day and age) won, and how Ferentz can make Iowa at least competitive with a talent gap.
Imho Franklin's over emphasis on explosive plays came at the cost of sound fundamentals.
I feel a bit bad for Smith as well. With a lead late in the game, who do you lean on? AK to manage to get a first down or JK to prevent a go ahead TD?

Haven't turned off a game in probably a decade, if ever. But I just can't watch this. I guess I can thank Franklin for the extra time I have available on a nice fall day. The only big play that matters at this point is in Kraft's hands.
