    That would be nice, but lately it's been stretch players that can't shoot. Nebraska was outside of the top 200 teams in 3 point % last year, and outside of the top 100 in 2 point %.

    UNL clearly is not willing/able to invest the resources needed to have a competitive men's basketball team. It makes little sense for them to pay a coach this high of a salary for the results they have been getting. They should probably go find some mid-major coach who has had a lot of success...

    Trying to be optimistic but this does not look like a very quality roster shaping up. Looks like a Summit League roster.

    OT: Tax prep

    CPA and former tax preparer here. Just do my own, but I use H&R Block online. Used to be really cheap, but it has gone up recently. They also charge you per form on some things, so I assume a Schedule C business will cost a little more. I think I paid like $80-$90.

    UNL has one of the best turf management programs in the country. It has been noted many times over the years how good our baseball grounds crew is. They can get this done if they really want to.

    We haven't been playing well, for sure, but those guys are studs. We may be deeper, but it's usually the studs that get you big wins. I watched the entire game and kept saying to myself "what are these two doing at Rutgers."

    Nebraska recruited quite poorly at that position in 2022, 2023 and 2025. There were some good players in 2024, but way too many reaches in the last 3-4 years or guys that ended up at safety. I think/hope the new DB coach will get it figured out.

    2025 RB commit Conor Booth

    Didn't realize he was hurt, so hopefully that was the reason for the poor production in the championship. I didn't mention anything about his stats being artificial or not good enough. He is a very good athlete on a team with an excellent offensive line.

    Butler DC

    So we just made him the DC to run a defensive scheme that he isn't familiar with? Rhule wants to keep the 3-3-5. Hopefully he is a better DC than DB coach cause they sucked this year. In the opponents pass yards per attempt statistic Neb was 8th in 2023 and 91st in 2024.

    Right there with you. I wanted an experienced, proven DC. All we can do is hope it works out. On the bright side, we should know if he is the guy in his first year.
