One advantage this team should have is wearing out opponents with their depth. Occasional pressing would facilitate this. But in today’s game, teams know how to punish you if you press them after every basket. So you have to pick your spot and be strategic about it. I think Pope will do that.
We beat Wisconsin 7 out of 10 times.
We beat Duke 8 out of 10, maybe 9. They match up horribly against us.
Unfortunately Wisconsin won 1 of their 3 games against us that night. It's so depressing to think about.
He's not platooning again. You have big guys with Skal, Zimm, Lee, and Poythress - and Willis in a pinch. I think that's plenty. Of course if Cal wants to add more, I suppose I can allow that haha.

Because Coach K will convince him to do things THE RIGHT WAY. The right thing to do is stay at Duke risking injury to help the program, not reach your dreams and help your family. How do you not know that?

I don't think you can go as far as saying you MUST have guards that can penetrate/score to win a NC. But the college game is conducive to good/great guards in the tournament specifically, because as has been stated big men can be neutralized easier on the collegiate level. In the NBA this...
