    I would give a slight edge to the 2013 team. They had a senior qb and were deeper at the skill positions. I would compare this squad more to the 2018 team that lost to a really good Mt Tabor squad in the playoffs. We have a great Sophomore QB who has a good chance of playing at the next level...

    I would think West Charlotte would be a heavy favorite. Erwin has had a great season and do have some weapons, not sure if they have enough for West Charlotte though. The fact that WC has over twice as many students to choose from makes a difference as well.

    Erwin WILL win state!

    Great win for the Warriors!! It wasn’t the prettiest game by either team but Erwin got it done and secured their first Conference Championship in a long time. I know Guest went down late in the game. Hoping it isn’t serious.

    Erwin schedule is 10/18 @ TCR 10/25 vs McDowell TBD 11/01 vs North Buncombe TBD 11/08 vs Reynolds TBD I’m guessing the Erwin TC game will be after ACR and Enka It appears they are making sure all the 3A teams play each other and all the 4A teams play each other for playoff implications.
