E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!! Birds - Green Bay official game thread

Good win, Packers are a good team and also factoring in the game in Brazil with a terrible field. Team kept fighting back and defense had some big stops in the second half. Biggest concerns is Hurts interceptions. Those can't happen. ANd the lack of pressure/sacks from DE.

    2023 PA Little League

You probably have seen this discussed already, but I am just catching up on a few threads here. Roster batting. If the roster is 12, then all 12 bat. If 13, then all 13 bat. I don't believe there is a minimum requirement to play in the field.

and what about pitch outs? No limit on those, other than 4.

    New (2023) MLB rules explained

Base size is being sold to address safety and I supposed helps the runner in those close tags. But, I think the limited (2) number of step offs or pickoffs will give a huge advantage to the runner, especially in combination of the clock. Once the pitcher steps off or attempts a pick off, even...

    Kidney Stone Monday #publicServiceAnnouncement

Kidney stone was the worst pain I have experienced. Got to take a ride in an ambulance for that. Still have one left and meet with a urologist each year to monitor. I have talked to a few women who have had kidney stones and they have told me pain was worse than going through labor.

Kimbrel has to be the closer. He has never done well in non-save situations even when he was the dominant closer with Atlanta.

Agree. 1st round QB's are too hit or miss. Get the point on rookie contracts. I can see that now playing out with Sanders, not Hurts.

After the 7th, I thought it was a big mistake to pull Wheeler. Obviously, it worked out. Relievers are much better starting an inning clean. Wheeler may be needed to pitch in 2 more games this series, so keeping pitch count low in this one (and win!) may be huge.

Topper said postgame that the umpire was blocking Bohm's view and didn't see Stott going to the bag. So Bohm was actually throwing it to Segura. A little strange. But, also said Stott should have caught the ball.

Reuben has been a big Sanders fan the past few years. So this is not a surprise. Reuben is one of the best and is usually spot on in his writings. This will be a tough call to resign Sanders because of all of the reasons he stated abut RB's. If he walks, they will need to prioritize a RB is...

Mixed feelings on the rule changes approved yesterday. Most I can live with. Don't like the limit on pickoffs.
