    Agree it was a poorly called game - Appomattox should have had a lot more fouls than were called. Looked like they were still in football mode. Don't think Appo would have gotten the win if Altavista hadn't been missing their senior starting point guard.

    Haha I assure you, none of the Altavista players switched to tennis shoes. That would be like putting racing slicks on in the rain for better grip? I did notice Thornhill switched to a shoe with deeper cleats at half time.

    Having not seen the Tigers any this year I can only go by what I have read. Looks like this will be a battle and the better D will win. I'm looking forward to traveling to Honaker, if their fans are anything like the awesome folks at Haysi last year, it's going to be great.
