Memorable games when The Hump was totally electric (that I attended)
January of 1979.... #17 Kentucky at the hump. The Dogs are down 61-60 with almost 6 minutes to go. There is no shot clock, and we hold it for one shot. Ray White rattles in a 3 from the top of key. That was the most nerve wrenching and exciting finish to any game that I've ever witnessed..... -

It makes perfect sense. Look at the numbers on a county by county basis and so many locations are off the scale with virtually zero chance of infection. With the size and diversity of conditions, it would be asinine to have a one size fits all plan for the entire state of Texas. -

There was legitimate concern that we would be relegated to district only games. That would have been a huge disservice to the players due to the fact that some districts have 4 teams and others have 7 or 8. Our district has only 4 teams, we would have only played 3 games and then the playoffs... -
