Picked for 11th in preseason coaches poll.
I get that resources are going to the basketball teams. But Big East schools are supposed to be peers. The school can’t compete with Xavier, Butler, Providence, etc. in ANYTHING?
Being out of shape is different than having conditioning issues, especially for a guy his size. Conditioning has been a thing for him going back to his Plainfield days.
Are you talking about Georgetown or Seton Hall?
If it’s SHU, it’s Kind of harsh, don’t you think?
Especially since they did score points in all but a few home games, and also won the majority of their home games.
The team stinks? Really?
Who knows with the way rosters change.
There’s a big difference comparing the Big East to the entire country. But regardless, it’s one thing to be strong, it’s another to put it to use. He still has a lot of work to do as far as that goes.
Definitely disagree. It’s a big country, with a lot of big guys out there. Also, while he’s strong, I didn’t see him taking advantage of it a lot, particularly on the offensive end.
Anyone else get a feeling that someone in power at Texas Southern either didn’t want him to get the job, or had their own person in mind who they want to get it?
