Also, Geo happened to shoot exactly 32.6% from 3 on his career, and closer to 40% from the field. Geo did this on 5 3s per game vs Powers 3. He happened to shoot 36% from 3 as a frosh. Across his whole career he did this against starters and as, at worst, the second guy on the scouting report...

“Geo Baker, only better” I’ve seen this sentiment written so many times on this site and it’s so stupid. Geo clawed this program out of the dirt and was excellent for 4 years despite a lot of nagging injuries. Potential is just potential - until any of these guys are better than Geo, stop...

BB Recruiting New Mexico transfer SG Lewis Duarte has signed with Rutgers

Only at Rutgers do these incidents get blown up

    Wow!

The point above about Davis has been true all season…when he’s aggressive offensively, generally the team looks far better. I don’t want Grant back for $5. He’s a waste of PT. Thought Mark played pretty selfishly last night…there was a drive in the second half where he got under the hoop and...

    Aiden dercack available

It still doesn’t sit right that Derkack lived in Colonia and never went to see a game at the RAC

    Dylan Grant

The number one thing tha tends to happen senior year is guys get more consistent and clean up the erratic stuff. Hopefully that’s the case here

    Lino Mark

The pike haters object, but I don’t think it’s absurd to imagine this team winning 10 conference games next season if they retain basically everyone and bring on a league average starting center. If that happens, you probably lose 2 of Dortch, Nwuli, ware, Grant, but I think that’s a fine trade...

    Lino Mark

It’s an indicator that he will probably improve from 3 with work. People tend to forget that the freshmen tend to start looking good for Pike every February. Even Nwuli having some good minutes…maybe he has one great game by the end of the season. Zrno has looked like a completely different...

    Woolfolk, Griffiths & Chol

This team needs a center that a) knows where to stand on defense b) can grab a rebound at the peak of th bounce from the rim (not at the player’s hip) c) can occasionally alleviate pressure off other players. Ogbole is a fine backup. Just being that big is an asset off the bench, and honestly...

    Cronin postgame

Were you saying this when he won 7, 7, and 10 games his first 3 seasons and went 16-16 year 4? Feels like it took NIL involvement to get his team to this level, not some great coaching

This is a shite show of the worst order

People dumped on MJ for years because he wasn’t a perfect offensive player…that kind of defensive and rebounding anchor changes everything else and cleans up so much for a team. Kaden looks like he has some Geo in him. Francis is probably better than Sanders. Buchanan is like a longer less...

For Season Tocket Holders last night gave some hope

    1. One score in football is way different than one score in basketball. 2. Rutgers has won these one possession games many many times over the Pike era . For all the bitching people do about his offense, he usually builds around a great scorer who can get a good midrange look at will when needed.

    OT: Derek Simpson

What are the other things Lino does? This guy is so overrated on these boards because he’s a freshman. JMike was better at all the things Lino is good at as a freshman. Today he’s significantly better. Good Lino can be an energy spark - last night he made a costly turnover and passed up open...

For Season Tocket Holders last night gave some hope

If your takeaway from last night is that Pike is a terrible coach, maybe just take a break from watching the games for a while. The only decision I disagree with was keeping Dortch on the sidelines the last few minutes, as I personally think if Grant isn’t being used as an option on offense...

    OT: Rutgers Athletic Deficit

On the plus side, based on what she says in the article, it seems like there’s finally a competent AD in charge. She doesn’t sugarcoat, she’s realistic about places there can be improvement and places there can’t.
