    My take on Mendez. He was too cocky. In his mind he wanted it more and trained like a demon and was the hodge favorite and pushed it all against a kid who was simply waiting in the weeds to counter. Mendez probably thought, I may as well win this thing because I am better and want it more...

    I saw what you saw and it translates to our other wrestlers. They just look smaller. I wonder if it has to do with the PSU singlets. Do they slim or create an optical sense that our guys are not that big.

    Cole not going on bottom cuts against Cael and the wrestlers proclaimed philosophy of getting better in all positions. It makes you wonder if because the prize that they worked for (the NCAA titlle)has arrived that they will now forgo their philosophy and do whatever is necessary to win.
