    The contest was for Philly and the Greater Philly region. The 2 finalists were actually Gazzo's out of Pottstown and JD's. I have friends down in Southeastern Berks who rave about Gazzo's but I have yet to give them a try.

    You'll never see a Berks team participate for this reason. Our leagues are not associated with LL which is a shame because we've had some really good programs historically, like Boyertown.

    The issue with PSU not matching the amount that some other schools are willing to pay has been addressed many times. There are several factors as to why we do what we do. First and foremost is that we don't have any big money donors who are willing to cover the cost of paying players directly...

    So....what are everyone's plans for travel/vacation/experiences for 2026?.....

    We did 2 weeks in Puerto Rico. We stayed between Aguadilla and Arecibo and hit different beaches. Ran into a PSU Alum at the Ohana Beach Restaurant in Camuy. It was a very relaxing and stress free vacation.
