    Maybe Iā€™m off on this, but Fairmont looked like a really good team with Duran and McNair. Not surprised by the close score. For Maiden, Very few fouls, strong defense and good free-throw shooting seems like pretty good coaching.

    A big congratulations to the Maiden Blue Devils, state champs. Their coach Hensley also said he will be retiring. Now thatā€™s some exit. Way to go everybody.

    Maiden by 3 with 6 1/2 minutes left in the game. If the they can hold on Creek and some of the fellers might have a gathering, like when they make a fire in that metal drum. Not sure why they do that but thereā€™s a reason floating around out there. Anyway, all the best to the Blue Devils.

    Just now ran across something that mentions a ā€œCommunity Meet The Coach.ā€ I wouldnā€™t mind hearing what he says, but the only kicker is the Community thingā€¦I donā€™t think they consider Lincolnton part of the COMMUNITY, if you get my drift.
