I'm still a believer in Pope...

I agree. I still think, if we had remained healthy, last year was a potent final Four team.

    Pope makes some adjustments

Has Izzo ever surrendered a 17 point lead in the 2nd half?

This stat is not good period.

Louisville scored 19 points off of turnovers. We scored 10 points of of turnovers.

What is certain, right now ...

We had more field goals than they did (32-31). Out rebounded them 42-40. Only made one less three pointer, 12 compared to 13. But committed 14 turnovers, to their 6. It seemed as though they scored off of every turnover. They also got to the line more. Kentucky has to learn to value the...

This stat is not good period.

The turnovers and more importantly, the points off of turnovers, was the biggest factor in the Cards winning.

Kentucky out-shot and out-rebounded Louisville. Here's what went wrong:

I've been very impressed with Moreno so far. Excited about his progression throughout the season.

    If I'm honest ...

I agree. I really thought Dioubate would thrive in a game like this. I was impressed with Jelavic, in the few minutes he got. Was hoping he'd provide a much needed spark in the 2nd half. Williams made the most of his time. But like you said, the lineups were puzzling. No cohesion to them. A lot...

    We are EMBARRASSINGLY SLOW….

I think they were just dialed in to win this one. I was surprised to hear, that it was their first home sellout in 2 years!! Louisville HAD to win this game. Their energy level was a good deal better than ours tonight. Hitting those first few threes, really got them going. Our speed looked just...

How the minutes shake out with 12 players when Lowe is back and JQ makes his debut...

Absolutely agree. Mo needs minutes. Guy is a warrior. Effort will never be an issue with him. Guys tend to feed off that kind of energy.

    Bruce Pearl obviously impressed

I'm really going to miss Bruce Pearl. He definitely made the SEC better. One of the all time great coaching personalities.

Could Purdue fans be worse than IU fans?

They're no worse than any other fans. They'll be a very good team. I'm sure they wanted to come into Rupp and prove they were deserving of that #1 ranking. Probably stings a little bit, that they were beaten so easily, which explains the sour grapes of that particular fan.

UNC Exploring Move to the SEC

I don't think the Big 10 would take them. Their academics are not up those standards. BTW, that's not a jab at Louisville. Ours aren't either. Just saying.
