    I really do wonder how this transfer market is going to change the recruiting freshmen and their money amounts. I still think the top will get their money through shoe deals and what not but some could see a price cut as more and more turn towards transfers.

    UK has a much higher ceiling than last year. I keep saying it but last year that team was flawed the defense wasn’t good enough to lock down anyone, the rebounding was awful at times (why we got beat), and everything relied on making 3’s. I feel like next year we’ll live on defense...

    Garrison will likely be one of the focal points of JQ isn’t 100% by the start of the season. Even so he can co-exist with JQ because he can shoot. He’s got a lot of potential one of the only ones besides Oweh I wanted to see return.

    I think last year’s team relied too much on 3 point shooting when it wasn’t falling that team was very flawed. We couldn’t rely on defense or rebounding. Those 2 other areas have been significantly addressed so as long as we can hit a decent amount from 3 we should be a very solid team!

    Yes, the positive though is likely most will be over in the next week or so. They were saying there’s a coming date where caps on what players can make so they’ll want to get things signed within a week or 2.

    this game vs Tennessee is about matchups were a bad matchup vs them like Bama is a bad matchup to us. Bama smashed us 2 of 3 times. Tennessee just can’t score enough points to win vs this Kentucky team. The teams U.K. has to worry about are athletic scoring teams and that’s not Tennessee.
