    I worked with a guy in Fayetteville who was from the hills of East Tennessee. He refurbished a Revolutionary War light 3-pounder cannon. He built the carriage from a downed white oak tree. It took him two years and the thing weighted 600 pounds. Maybe a guy named Jason sold them Rebs a cannon.
