    It won't stop here either. Remember that 10 or so years ago ESPN wanted 96 teams in the tournament.

    Again, the courts have ruled that the NCAA can settle eligibility, especially in terms of how many years a player can play. I fail to see how that is going to result in a defeat. Using your argument, the NCAA has no right to set any eligibility rules so players can just play forever.

    I actually think the NCAA can win this one in court. The courts have typically ruled that the NCAA can govern eligibility standards.

    Things are going to reach a boiling point when the next progressive administration decides that Title IX is applicable to NIL. The Biden team tried that in their closing days and that will come up again, especially as some universities push more of it toward men's basketball and football.

    Not this easy. Not all states allow public employees to unionize and others, including ours, do not let public employees strike. So that would be a hindrance to declaring the players employees/allowing unionization.
