Was it Amato who had some question marks during the recruiting process? Got into trouble, character, or something else which was brought up on this board?
I see the parallel as an addition to your neighbor's house will draw more people to the property similarly to how a Fieldhouse draws in more/better recruits.
Guaranteed success for all those with big, fancy field houses right Al? How's that working for Maryland and Northwestern to name a couple? It's a big waste of money building shiny structures with ostentatious intentions.
Well, they certainly look like they are having a good time even though some look idiotic and others looking like they are in a trance like state. And moms, dads, and young ladies chanting to suck it is a little odd. I must be getting old.
For me, I cant rely on NCAA seedings as the measure of success. 2025 was a pleasant surprise. 2026 what I saw was a regression as he wasnt as aggressive or effective and he lacked the composure he had in 2025 on the mat. Just my opinion.
As long as he can safely make '74, I think SCW will be better suited for that weight vs the competition. I was hoping to see an improvement over his first season out of RS and for whatever reason(s) that didn't happen.
I'd like to know why someone like Maryland is not a national contender with their shiny fieldhouse and mega donor(s). Maybe the fieldhouse thumper would like to chime in.
