    There was that small matter of a hurricane and mass evacuations from South LA. It doesn't totally excuse the crowd, but it certainly was a factor. Anyway, how do you think the fan base would react if another deal was made with Tech...even if it was a better deal (2 for 1)?

    When Tech entered the WAC, there was a real eastern component. Rice, SMU, UTEP, and Tulsa were also in the WAC when Tech joined. Since they left, the geography is obviously out of WAC, but the revenue minus travel expenses still makes the WAC a better deal financially.

    We had a bad combo of an indecisive QB and an injured line. No less than 3 guys we thought would start were out at one time or another. We threw quite a few guys into the fire early.
