    This is really a sad day for this sport. I’m from the old school when there were 5 classes and you had to earn your way in. This rewards mediocrity and bad football. Nothing more.

    Most of them for sure the 8A and 7a teams. Most of the officials won’t be there yet either. Normally I’d think this is weak but this isn’t your typical storm and the amount of snow expected rivals the semis from a few years back. And it’s not just getting there it’s getting home as well...

    Are you reading what you wrote? This isn’t about football anymore it’s about safety and more so common sense. Common sense prevailed from ISU. If this causes them to lose the contract that’s an IHSA issue not an ISU problem
