    I remember my first championship game for Lafayette against Salem, I think 1997 or so, At Turner Ashby. Great environment and packed.

    Oh boy, 3 hours 15 minute drive into the Nova traffic mess. I use to live in Lowes Island section of Loudoun County. Couldn’t wait to escape the traffic to Williamsburg.

    Tough game, Lafayette with 2 picks in the 4th Q sealed the win. On the go ahead touchdown two personal fouls called after the play. Missed xtra pointers from 40 yd line. Never seen anything like it in 25 years of watching.

    Going to some very suprised teams in the Bay Rivers District this year.

    New look offense for Lafayette this year

    Going with the Slot T offense this year. Saw it in practice yesterday and is indeed a very fast tempo offense with movement everywhere. No more long times between snaps, a very hurry up offense. With 20 Seniors the experience is there for a change.
