    What on court coaching by Cal angered you most?

    Not running ISO plays for Keldon Johnson in the 2019 game vs Auburn to go to the final four. He had a shorter guy guarding him during the game and seemingly could have scored at will on multiple possessions. Of course we lost in OT and Auburn reaches their first final four.

    I can't disagree with you there, other than maybe it got him drafted in the first round by a team who is willing to "redshirt" him long enough to recover from the cleanup surgery...in which case it was probably worth it.

    Exactly this! He was examined by one of the leading NBA docs who said that his knee was sound but he needed a "cleanup" procedure. Maybe that means meniscus debridement or chondral debridement, or plica or something else that won't cause a long term problem but can certainly keep his knee sore...

    "We are UK" no longer holds any more weight than "We are Vandy", or We are Texas," or "We are Indiana". Nil has made blueblood status inconsequential unless we become the Dodgers or Yankees and have the wealthiest donors. I don't know how we plan to compete in the long term with Mark Cuban...

    Agree completely. The Rancik kid seemed like a better choice for Pope's system even if he wasn't better all around. ON seems a better fit than Freeman too. And the injury thing, how were we justifying that?

    Pope has buried himself by being to proud to hire a GM who can actually negotiate with agents instead of being punked by them over and over. I hope he can pull some rabbits out of his hat, but it certainly isn't trending in that direction. You're right though, he should be gone after next season...

    MM can play the 3 or 4. He would be a MUCH BETTER complement to Stokes because he is a MUCH better 3 pt shooter. 48.6% v 31%. We also have 2 guards who can get to the basket if we have guys at the 3 and 4 that have to be guarded outside the lane. I don't think his injury history is bad like...

    Moreno....lost and soft.

    He'll get more time in the gym in the off season and won't be as soft next year. Give him a minute to develop. He's not a bulky muscle guy like Bam or JQ.
