    For anyone shocked by this, it has been public knowledge for quite some time. As far as alumni there, you’ve got the Walmart founder, Tyson chicken founder, Jerry Jones, Bill Clinton, John Daly. It’s hard not to imagine all of that mixed with Cal’s connections they can have a hefty NIL pool.

    Stopgap coach?

    The answer here is Bruce Pearl, who will bring his son on staff and want him to take over as coach in waiting, like Saul Smith 2.0 back in the day with Tubby, but Barnhart will say screw that I’m retiring and letting the next AD deal with that mess. I hope it doesn’t get to this point.

    Here’s what I think happens….

    If you want to be negative that's on you to figure out whatever is going on in your life. I'll be here rooting for Cal and co. and if they can't get it done this year then someone else can step in to take over, assuming Barnhart makes the right hire.
