Blast from the past Curtis Pulley recruitment

After he scored a TD against Florida as a freshman I thought he was the next big thing. Could've worked in that Cobb/Bowden type offense, but alas. Was he the same class as Lionel DeWalt?

[CBB] No.2-ranked CJ Rosser talks Kentucky + his recruitment

Shaw dropping this story professionally only for it to immediately devolve is fitting. No way Rosser leaves the state of North Carolina, right?

    Let's see where we stand

All good. Was just inferring your tone from other posts. The stories when he agreed to come back was that he took less money. I would almost guarantee if BG and Jelavic got looks from power 5 schools a guy with Kam's build/game would too. This team is going to be solid, not sure what their...

    Let's see where we stand

Idk man I was responding agreeing to the poster's valid point about Pope and mercenaries with a little hope that there's been some correction there. As far as Kam goes he was in multiple early mock drafts last year because of his size and shooting them played with some of the lowest assist rate...

    Let's see where we stand

On the mercenary point, I totally agree he brought in far too many last year (JQ, Lowe, Aberdeen, Chandler, Jelavic, Mo, etc). Having said that, Kam stayed for less money, Hawthorne/Moreno/Noah/Morton are all lifelong Kentucky fans, and at least in his comments McBride seems to get it too...

    Wrestling Thread

It's interesting to me that a segment of wrestling fans have moved from fantasy booking to fantasy corporation running. Maybe that's kind of the natural progression of fandom because it gets done in other sports all the time. The constant monitoring of ratings, ticket sales, etc I feel like...

    Current Roster Outlook and Expectations

It can't be overstated how much different this team has the opportunity to be from last year by simply doing these things: -Hitting WIDE OPEN teammates with passes -Not dribbling off your leg multiple times in crunch time moments -Having a third guard that can dribble the basketball while not...

    Current Roster Outlook and Expectations

Morton would've been really good this past year for us. Low turnover shooter.

    Current Roster Outlook and Expectations

Zoom is a solid starter. If he's all-conference defense (has the talent and build to be), we will excel. Wilkins projects really well. Going to be brimming with confidence coming in too. Has a chance to be an all-conference guard and average 16 a game. Kam is good, with a chance (not a big...

    BB: 2026-2027 TRANSFER PORTAL

*If nothing else* I do like the personality makeup of who we've brought in better than last year. Transfers seem to be humble and hungry (ex McBride's quote above). The international guys seem to have a positive rep for having played basketball as a job before. No comment on the talent level...

    Stokes announcing at 6:30 EST

Only hope is that he is trolling Kansas and all these national guys. Which would be awesome, but probably not happening.

    Wrestling Thread

Felt like Karrion Kross was doing the best with the tormented/dark stuff, and he got the boot too. A. Black just kind of sucked. Enjoyed Legado Del Fantasma, but Escobar is just physically too small for WWE to put him in any big programs. Seems like he could've been in AAA like some others...

    BB: 2026-2027 TRANSFER PORTAL

It makes sense. If you're going to have that type of player in the rotation they have to be able to shoot. Potter has proven he can do that.

    BB: 2026-2027 TRANSFER PORTAL

Agree with that. Land one of these backup centers this week (the 8 ft tall kid or the FAU guy), the guard from Wash St/Winchester, and go splash some cash for a superstar. If all else fails call Otega and see if he wants a piece of it.

    BB: 2026-2027 TRANSFER PORTAL

Potentially. Didn't say it was ideal, but it's not like Freeman had Syracuse rolling through the ACC either. He's going to have to land a star. His Kentucky tenure depends on it. If he doesn't, then there's an extremely likely chance we've got a new coach next year.
