If our fans are intent on splitting fan emotional investment and resources between men and women’s sports (which I believe is one of the reasons our men’s basketball team has been in the dark ages for years), can we at least have a separate sixpack board for women’s sports.

I certainly understand having some interest in the women’s program when they are contending for a national championship, but focusing on a mediocre women’s program while our men’s team is top quarter of the SEC is a waste and a distraction. Why can we not get back to our men’s...

And people need to realize that this can provide the high side of the results we’ve historically experienced and give us a chance to have a special year every now and then. State football is in an exciting place.
