One BOLD prediction for Rutgers basketball in 2026-27:

To be a tourney team we need one of Garavaglia, Smith, Sydnor, or Jones to dramatically exceed expectations. On par with a Francis level surprise in production. The rest obviously can’t be duds but we need one to be a major get.

Gotta let this season play out

People saying “we’ve gotten better every game” and “UMASS may not be as bad as people think” need to take a step back and listen to how absurd that is in the face of a $20M+ war chest and an extremely highly paid staff. I think you and others are under estimating how much damage was done by the...

OT: Before you get excited about LeBron

Why can’t you just say he’s a great player but you think MJ & Kobe are better? Are you seriously arguing he is a bum?

Jalen Brunson and KAT would have gone to Rutgers if we had a good program

Huge miss by KAT. Decided to go to Kentucky under Calipari and get drafted 1st overall when he could’ve played for Eddie Jordan coming off a 12 win season in the AAC.

Recruiting, but it's not an overnight fix without HS kids

As bad as that looks now, context is important. He had just landed the best class in school history and by all accounts Ace by himself. His name got floated around a lot for smaller head jobs. Locking him in for $700k per kept him away from taking a job at a smaller school. Hindsight 20/20 but I...

2026 NCAA Tournament Thread \ ALL Games-ALL Rounds

No one will ever remember this but I thought Hurley got a little bailed out. Their second to last possession was atrocious. Down three and wasted almost 15 seconds before driving leaving only 10 on the clock. Duke wouldve been shooting 1 & 1 and Reed was unstoppable. Thought for sure they were...

    Sweet 16 Thread

Iowa made it here with two below average games from Stirtz. Have the feeling he goes off tonight.

Zebras cost Santa Clara the upset win over Kentucky by not seeing the time our call by their coach.

Even If all of that happened in less than 2 seconds it would be to tie. Much less likely than giving up a three.
