    The schools currently spending near the cap aren’t going to go bankrupt. This very high cap though, is likely good for them as it would seem to putt the brakes on the rate of growth. It’s irrelevant, it seems, for the majority of schools like Iowa.

    Haven’t beaten a ranked Bigten team on the road since 2015. Iowa only managed 16 on ISU and Michigan is way better on defense than them. My expectations are low but Iowa has a chance if it doesn’t get a punt blocked and is plus 2 in turnovers. That said:Michigan 20 Iowa 6

    Looking ahead

    MSU is ranked 20th in the country in talent composite by 247. Nothing near the top of a loaded SEC but way higher than Iowa or Minnesota. Still expecting a tough fight up there.

    Looking at the ISU depth chart, they only lose four guys off this defense, so they should be even better next year. Based on what Lester has done vs ISU so far it looks like it will be up to the defense to try to win it next year.
