    To all of you out there currently working at summer resorts in the lakes or mountains, I wish you the best of luck as you prepare for your end-of-summer talent contests. I learned from the movie "Dirty Dancing" that such contests are serious business.

    When his death was announced, the ESPN ticker at the bottom of the screen listed his stats. It seemed his total wins were higher and his ERA was lower. My immediate reaction was, "How did Mussina get in and TJ not?

    I remember visiting a school in the Northeast, and when the tour went into the library, a group of students were sitting at a table working on a project. One of the students at the table told us not to take that course, giving the specific name and number of it. Lol.

    I didn't think it was bad, but yeah, Redford's Gatsby isn't a great picture. The Baz Luhrmann one with DiCaprio was really good, imo.
