    Insurance companies are in prime settlement stage right now. Family law is the worst. The absolute worst. People will literally fight over anything. You spend 2 hours on dividing a 32' TV, Forks, weed eaters and argue about who will take the debt on the rainbow vacuum cleaner.

    Ohhh.... That actually would make a difference in the charge. If he has a BAC below .08 and the only reason he is being charged with DUI is because he is under the age of 21, it would be a hard to charge him with a felony. If he is above .08, I don't think there is any other option than to...

    I would imagine that his BAC will be the difference in him being charged with Reckless Homicide (Class D) or 2nd Degree Manslaughter (Class C). There's no excuse for running up on a sidewalk and hitting someone. It amazes me that Kentucky doesn't have a vehicular homicide statute.
