    I was at Penn State when Hostetler and Blackledge were there...tough decision but the right one for Hoss. I just enjoy seeing players get the chance to progress, and unfortunately it seems lately we've had a number of QBs who got the starting role over several years and didn't progress.

    I probably should have said 'gave it his all' vs 'stuck it out'. I thought he shows incredible progress and could have easily won another 2 games. Other the LB that went to Tennessee, he was the one player I was hoping would stay.

    Their game in the CFP didn't surprise me. In an earlier game when their 2 top WRs were out, their offense looked lost. It reminds me of UCLA basketball under John Wooden...he made sure to recruit the top 2 centers to prevent the competition from signing the second best.
