    Played legacy last week. They had a rough winter. Lots of patchy fairways . greens were running fast and pure though. Terrace Hills was in surprisingly good shape.

    OT but I finally got out to play Lake Panorama. I found the course...just ok. I was expecting a lot more. Now, it was cold and windy, but I didn't find any of the holes particularly interesting or memorable. I'd play there again, but only if it was a group event. I'm not driving over an hour one...

    Correct. And as someone who grew up in NW Iowa calling loosemeats "taverns", I was shocked to learn the rest of the state doesn't call them that. But it still makes more sense than calling all loosemeats "maid rites" or sloppy joes, as is popular in central Iowa.
