    I think recruiting titles are dumb. Our biggest recruit this year was Tre Jones. It is kind of funny for Duke to end with the top class this year though because it removes the Capel excuse for Duke’s recruitng success.

    Based on the 247 class calculator, uk isn’t “miles ahead”. They are a Matt ahead. Uk currently has one additional commit. If duke matches that number with Matt Hurt, they move past uk and zona to become the number one class again. If they add Stanley as well, they stay #1 and the gap grows...

    With two balls they could’ve hung 236 on people. RJ led the best conference in the country in scoring as a freshman while sharing scoring opportunities with a force of nature. He’ll be an all star for many years to come.

    Jones measured 6’2.5 at team USA minicamp in 2017. 8 ft standing reach. His measurements aren’t an issue. Knocking down open jumpers and attacking the rim consistently are. Jones assist/to ratio is insane and he’s younger than Hagans by 6 months.

    The thread title is a joke. Duke has been killed by kids who came in with multi year plans or resumes who left at the first chance to get drafted (Jones, Winslow, Kennard (supposed to do 3), Trent, Duval (resume). You’re thinking of unc. Duke is way overdue for some good news in this regard.
