    good points. if NU would have had bigger leads at the end of the 4th quarters that NU lost with late drives by the opponents, they could have, obviously, won more games

    I really like Joe Burrow and feell bad NU didn't get him, but JB wouldn't have done anything close to what he did at lsu. NU just didn't have anything close to the NUMBER of good to great receivers lsu has. JD is a great one but Wandale was forced to play running back so much. JMO

    I heard that, too. And I was thinking, where is the special teams coach. Is that dewitt? even if he was in the press box, they should have a chain of communication to tell the ko team what they need to know. But, someone forgot to tell them the objective is to play your lane and get a tackle.

    learning on the job--I was really frustrated at the end of the first half against maryland. NU had a golden opportunity for Frost and the team to actually practice clock management in a game situation at the end of that half and it was completely blown off.     I think he is maybe could be too emotionally involved because he wants to do so well at his alma mater as he loves the place so much. I hope that doesn't get in his way to where he can't delegate enough, which may be the case right now. He has a lot to learn, especially about game and clock...

    I don't know about that as there was a big portion of the crowd today dressed in red, Memorial stadium was packed and enthusiastic from what I saw on tv. Yes, people are grousing anonymously here, but the fan base is still behind the team, publicly.
