    I'm 74 about to turn 75. Is that old enough? I'm so old lifetime guarantees don't impress me. I grew up with the Yankees. I remember Mel Allen doing the games. I thought Red Barber was terrible. My favorite broadcast team was Rizzuto, White and Messer.

    I'm not trying to make him John Wooden. I'm just saying that the program would be in better shape if he was still the coach. Changing coaches every few years doesn't send a signal of stability. Sometimes continuity matters.

    They never should have fired Chambers. Progress was slow but it was steady and his teams always played hard. That being said this team is very young. However I often feel they lack effort on defense and rebounding. Where would they be if Niederhauser had stayed?
