    Restless by William Boyd. First published 20 years ago. Based on British and Russian espionage in Britain and the US prior to Pearl Harbor. An interesting take on American entry into the war.

    They are folding like a cheap lawn chair at the worst possible time. Yes injuries have played a big part but the timing; post deadline BP upgrades and the start of football season. Unless they can win 5 in a row it may be an empty PNC Park.

    I will add that I was surprised that the Mets are eating approximately half of WEAVERS contract next year. On paper it seems like a good deal for the Pirates.
