I love that he begins to answer honestly, saying that others are more qualified, and then realizes "WAIT A SECOND! I'm Mike Francesa. I have championships! Of cawse I could coach at Rutgahs, I just don't wanna."
We're all assuming that spending $5 million on a coach means they will be successful. If the new coach wins 8-9 games a year in the B1G east, that'd be pretty successful, right? My guess is that we wouldn't be satisfied and eventually the ticket sales would decline, leaving Rutgers with a coach...
I never understood this logic. Unless the team went undefeated, there was some point that the defense failed to make a key stop unless they lost on a pick 6 or kickoff return. That means there's only one or two great defenses a year.
Awful news. I got to work with Kyle for a few years at a camp and everyone absolutely loved him. Super positive person. If I'm remembering correctly, they actually didn't have a position for him but created one because after spending 10 minutes with him they knew they needed to hire him. RIP
While elbow injuries have risen, baseball has gotten much better at preventing shoulder injuries, which are often career enders. Just think of how many guys would've eventually torn their UCL in the past except their career was already over after tearing their rotator cuff.
It's still a major...
