    For me, it was not plugging - the snow was sticking to the first stage augers and after a few minutes creating a rotating drum of snow so the output went way down and it would start pushing the snow in front. Spraying silicone lube and lifting and dropping front to shake it loose helped...

    But there was a layer of slush on the bottom which made it a bit harder on the snowblower - had to clear off the auger blades and respray with silicon spray a few times. Ended up being the most sticky I’ve dealt with in a while - last storm had no issues at all with snow sticking to the auger...

    Selective statistics - they also show that the major contributing factors to auto accidents are driver complacency, distraction, or fatigue on familiar, routine routes - regardless of snowy conditions or not.     Silly, pointless argumentative crap like this is why I generally avoid social media - seems to bring out the worst in many people. I’d rather just stick to respectful, discussion on the pending storm - seems too much for some here so I’ll just ignore.
