ELECTRICAL engineers.......General or Electrical in the afternoon FE test?

when I took the FE (2007), there were 3 EEs that took it. I think all three of us did the Electrical part in the afternoon. I'm not sure if the other 2 passed (I did), but we were the first 3 to finish. It was pretty straight forward, the biggest problem I had was signals and systems. I could...

OT: Favorite beer---- I know this is kind of based on "what" you.....

I like alot of the beers listed so far, but my favorite right now is New Belgium 1554. I bought a 6 pack when I was in TX a few weeks ago, and liked it so much, I'm brewing my own batch right now. Let's hope it comes out somewhat similar to the real thing!

OT: Tivo - worth the money?

Service is normally like $13 a month, but the boxes are ~$300 instead of $100. I pay by the year, and I think it's around $130 a year. Just checked mine, Mar 14, so you've got at least one person in line in front of you. I really don't understand what takes that long to activate an account. Especially if I've given him $200 to do so.

    OT: For the Jacksonians (long)

This example (NYC crime) is referenced in The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. They started with the small crimes (vandalism on the subway cars, etc.) Basically, no crime went unpunished, no matter how small. People began to see the cleaner, safer subway, started changing peoples attitudes...

FYI - This is Milton McGregor...

They're looking into him bribing lawmakers for bingo votes now, but during the Larry Langford trails, there was this gem. He's about as dirty as they come. http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2009/09/lawsuit_claims_birmingham_mayo.html

    NASCAR post

But yeah, I agree, counter productive to good racing. I say they remove the restrictor plates, and slightly lower the banking. Just enough for handling to come into effect so they can't run wide open all the way around. If they don't want to have big wrecks, they need to do something to get rid...
