    Did student tickets sell out?

    It is much easier to resell tickets these days than it was back in the 90's. No matter what you do to try to prevent it, people can find ways around it unless you make the tickets non transferrable.

    Zingerman's is the big fish in a small pond. It may be a must-go in Ann Arbor, but it would be an average deli in the Northeast. I had to wait over a half hour to get my food on a weekday with no special events in town. I can't imagine how long the wait would be during a football weekend not...

    Anyone watch Criminal Record on Apple TV? I thought season 1 was good, but season 2 was much better. Apple does a really good job with their programming. Another season of Slow Horses is coming in the fall.

    I am afraid to see what happens in NYC when this series is over. If the Knicks win, there will be rioting in celebration. If the Knicks lose, there will be rioting in anger. And there will be plenty of idiots recording it all on their phones.

    I hate soccer and won’t watch the World Cup Thread.

    I am still trying to understand why it is so difficult (and expensive) to get people from NYC to Met Life Stadium (which is temporarily being called New York/New Jersey Stadium) for the World Cup when they can do it 16+ times each year for NFL games with no problems.

    John Krasinski and BJ Novak from The Office went to the same high school, and I believe were even in the same graduating class. I read that Oivia Munn and James Marsden went to the same school in Oklahoma City a few years apart, and Munn was friends with Marsden's sister.

    When a company’s financing needs are bigger than bank loans and not big enough for the public markets, private equity is the middle ground. Like anything else, some private equity firms are pigs and others can genuinely help with growth.
