POLL: Which board will you use?

I will be posting on 24-7, as John O and I go WAY back, to the old days, and I have always worked with him.

How would you like to proceed from here? Routes and players to take.

Like ... Thiam, let's say! A perfect example of the "type" you just suggested.

Matt Bullock and Souf Mensah to leave program

I actyually agree with some of what Greene FIG says here! And I disagree with Shack, by the way. I believe Thiam has the potential to be a 12-15 ppg scorer, maybe full fruition by his Senior year. I am not sure he WILL achieve that potential, but I believe the potential is there. I believe...

Choose 2 players to help us win the B10 tourney

If you were going to break the rules, I would actually pick Bailey (a Center who could SCORE, inside and mid-range, AND defend), and Douby (the dead-eye shooter RU really lacked).

    Purdue Thoughts: Part 1

Actually, Omoruyi struggled as much against V. Edwards as did Freeman. Omoruyi gave up back to back open 3's to Edwards when he did not get out to him, or even stepped back away from Edwards at least once. Also, Omoruyi had 2 really bad decision turnovers, and was relatively invisible on the...

TRANSCRIPT: Coach Pikiell, Corey and Geo talk about the Purdue game

Thanks for the transcript. By the way, Sanders does not SOUND like he is automatically leaving. He sounds like he might still be part of this team, and MIGHT wish to stay part of this team. Maybe.

    For all you Freeman bashers

And in THIS game he played absolutely fantastic defense on Morgan in the 2nd half ... amazing defense in the 2nd half on Morgan!

Let’s pack the Garden vs Purdue

I could not go tonight - though I am about 20 blocks away. I plan to go Friday to support the team. I would be looking for 1 ticket to buy ... anyone? I know this is not the right Board, but ...

    For all you Freeman bashers

With all due respect (and yes, Freeman was terrific on the boards last night, and even better from the FT line), Freeman rarely covered Murphy. Omoruyi was the primary defender of Murphy. In the 2nd half, Freeman DID often come over to double Murphy, especially in the last 10-12 minutes of the...

Game 32: Big 10 Tournament: Minnesota Thoughts

Excellent comments, all. Sa DID play, actually - in the 2nd half. Was ... okay. No dramatic moments. The different starting line-up also led directly to a LOT of Thiam posting up, which while it did not result in a lot of points, did change the offensive flow quite a bit, for the general...

Corey's "Who Got the Keys" Post

This. Excellent self-article by Mr. Sanders, very well-thought out and written. When reading the article I VERY much interpreted his various comments to imply the timing of Sanders' article to be during the off-season BEFORE this past season. Specifically, he talked about his "second" season...

Semi-OT Schools and Players listed in NCAA BBall Investigation

Well ... though I know college sports is really dirty, and college basketball the foulest and dirtiest of them all, I totally disagree with Hawk, here. These documents show one aspect of the ESSENCE of cheating. Once an athlete receives MONEY, or even other impermissable benefits, they are...

Hint of Potential Offensive Improvement From RU for 2018-2019 Season?

My comments go back your your original post, on point #5. First, Thiam is NOT a 4/PF - and never will be ... at least not in college. I do not see him adding the weight that turns him into a PF/4. Thiam is a WF, or even 2G. Second, by arguing he should post up more, I am NOT arguing for him...

    Thiamoruyi

I am pretty sure he is actually 6'7", now ... and 235 to 240 ... in college, big enough for PF. He has dramatically improved his ability to finish around the basket this year versus last year, and reduced his turnovers, while improving his defense. For NEXT season, I hope to see an improved...
