    No ifs, ands or buts ... they ARE more successful than last year since they won the championship this year and did not win it last year.

    Certainly true on an individual basis, but as for teams, we were beaten by the second-best team in the AAC West and that's not subject to debate.

    Thank God we didn't stay in the AAC. We were be mired for third in the West behind Navy and Houston. Helluva conference. Certainly better than the Big 12 and, except for USF's loss to FSU, probably better than the Acc.
