    I was somewhat skeptical of him until I saw him in an AAU game with other high level talent between his junior and senior years. Not only did he belong, he was arguably the best player on the floor.

    1970 in Columbus Cats 109 Notre Dame 99 Cats overcome a 5 point halftime deficit and 52 points by Austin Carr to get the win behind Issel’s 44 points. The beauty of this game? My dad and I were glued to the radio because it wasn’t televised on any of the three channels we got back then. 😎

    How much different would our season had been if Pope's entire roster, Lowe, JQ, CW played all year?

    A healthy roster probably gets regular season wins vs UNCheats, Mizzuruh, Georgia, Allbarn, and maybe one win against Florida. Four of those 5 makes us 23-8 going into the SECT. Go 2-1 in the SECT, and we're 25-9 and probably a 5 seed and maybe still playing..or maybe not.
