This is about the only ASG i put some amount of stock in. The matchup means more since its USA vs international usually. But im not putting a ton of stock either way.
Like his game. Good shooter. Runs like a gazelle and gets off his feet quick around to rim. Elite shot blocker. Issue is front court would really lack scoring across the board unless we still planned on bringing in a big time 4 or 5
Only way he could ever start at point is if he becomes a more confident shooter, other than that he handcuffs an offense. Hope him the best but ill be glad hes not our primary handler next year.
I think hes the difference we’ve been asking from Cal. Better XO’s, a more veteran lineup. Im not sure hes a better total package, but hes better for what we’ve needed. He would seemingly improve slightly with UK resources. Id be fine with it
