    he would have squeezed the tying run home with Henderson at the plate most other times. Of course, he was hoping for a deep grounder, passed ball, error, long fly..... a hit.     their pitcher has been on the ropes twice and both times we have let him off the hook. We manage to have momentum then give it away.

    no way do you do that with Rea on third base. Bunting has its place but that was not one of them. First and third and noone out and we allow that situation to be a momentum booster for Samford.

    Great Place To Stay in Fla St...

    Residence Inn at Capitol....stayed there last time we were at regional. Can drive to the stadium in almost no time. Umpires for that regional were booked there as was the CL beat writer. It was lots of fun staying there. You cannot go wrong here.

    a few years ago that place was a dump as a regional site. How in the heck they could pick them again over us or KY is insane to me. Then there is Purdue....a field with no lights? Give me a break.

    somewhere in the country. I know it has been said that MSU will not host...KY will. It is not hard to make a case for MSU over KY. MSU beat KY 4 of 5 times and beat their best guy when it really mattered. A lot has been said about the Purdue regional. That would be a good one to be the one seed...
